San Francisco Super Bowl L Host Committee

 

Keith Bruce was hired as the President & CEO of the San Francisco Super Bowl L Host Committee in September 2013. Super Bowl L will represent the 50th anniversary of the Super Bowl and will be played in the new Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, CA in February 2016.

A veteran of the sports and event industry, Keith has 25 years of sports marketing, event management and advertising experience, combining extensive brand building expertise with a deep knowledge of the sports and events marketplace, on both domestic and global levels. Keith is a well-known and respected industry figure based on his in-depth experience and ‘on the ground’ large scale event management and operational leadership capabilities that are the result of managing client sponsor programs and operations at the largest sporting events in the world, including the Olympic Games, NFL Super Bowl, FIFA World Cup, the NCAA Final Four, America's Cup and others.

Prior to his position with the host committee, Keith was the President of SportsMark for the past seven years. As President, Keith was the lead executive overseeing all SportsMark revenue and business development, client management, Olympic Games business, property sales, strategy and client relationship management. Additionally, he spearheaded the agency’s groundbreaking official hospitality/ticket sales partnerships with global event properties FIFA (for the FIFA World Cup) and the America’s Cup Event Authority (America’s Cup sailing).

Prior to joining SportsMark, Keith was Executive Vice President and Head of Global Sports for the Radiate Group, an Omnicom-owned collection of over 30 sports, event and entertainment marketing agencies in the U.S. and Europe. He ran the sports business practice for Radiate, developing the company’s experience and reputation in providing sports and event marketing services to clients across the entire sponsorship spectrum.

Keith founded Foote Cone & Belding Sports Marketing in 1996 in San Francisco, which was ultimately rebranded as 361° Marketing. As the head of FCB’s Worldwide Sports Marketing practice from 1996-2003, he was responsible for strategic sports consulting, event management and entertainment programs for corporate clients. Keith began his marketing career in account management at Leo Burnett Advertising in Chicago in 1987. He graduated with a BS in Marketing from the University of Illinois School of Business.

Keith has lived in the San Francisco Bay Area for nearly 20 years. He and his wife Kimberly live in Marin County and have two daughters, Madeleine and Mason.

Since 2003, Keith has been an active Board member of the Bay Area Chapter of the National Sports Marketing Network (NSMN).
