JEFF SHIFRIN

In November 2017, Jeff Shifrin left CSM North America.

On July 11, 2016, after 18 years at Octagon, Jeff was named CEO of CSM's North America business.

He was named President of Octagon Marketing in 2005. Since that time Octagon has gone on to realize record revenues in each of the last 5 years, and under Jeff’s management in 2008, Octagon was named Agency of the Year by the “Sports Business Journal.” Shifrin has led Octagon Marketing’s transformation from an event and property focused group to a position of “thought leadership” within the industry. Octagon’s consulting roster is unparalleled in the industry and Octagon’s Passion Driver Research continues to set the industry standard on how to measure and interpret fan passion. Prior to his role of President, he managed Octagon’s Promotions, Event Management, Property Representation, and Hospitality Divisions. In 1999, he transformed the company by creating what has become one of Octagon’s most innovative and profitable divisions, and an industry model, Octagon’s Marketing Solutions division. The division which culminates all of these marketing disciplines, provides clients with effective and efficient access to the talent and tools they need to fully leverage sports and entertainment sponsorships. Jeff’s career began at Kraft/General Foods where he worked on the Kool-Aid, Country Time, Crystal Light and Jell-O brands. During his tenure at Kraft, he earned 6 Marketing Innovation Awards and numerous company honors. He left KGF in 1994 to become a partner at Ander Communications where he was responsible for forming a strategic promotions group. Clients at Ander included Kraft, L’oreal, Nabisco, Hertz, and Tupperware. Jeff has an undergraduate degree from Northeastern University and resides in Wilton, CT with wife Sandy and sons Matt and Kyle. Jeff is also a member of NSMN's New York City Chapter Board.
