Bob Cramer is the Vice President of Sports Marketing and Partnership Management for the Coca-Cola Company, responsible for leading US sports properties and alliances. A 20 year veteran in the field, Bob leads the strategy, activation and management of numerous Coca-Cola partnerships including NASCAR, NBA, PGA Tour, NHRA, LeBron James, Kobe Bryant and Derrick Rose. These premier partnerships are aligned with select brands across Coca-Cola’s vast beverage portfolio including Coke, Coke Zero, Sprite, Mello Yello, vitaminwater, NOS and POWERADE.
Bob’s career includes both client-side and agency-side roles. Prior to joining Coca-Cola, Bob was President of Genesco Sports Enterprises where he led the strategy and consulting capabilities for the agency that served numerous blue-chip brands. Prior to Genesco, Bob was Vice President of Sponsorships and Promotions at MasterCard Worldwide. During his 9+ year tenure, Bob was responsible for managing and activating the company’s expansive sponsorship portfolio that included, Major League Baseball, PGA Tour, NHL, NASCAR, MLS, NFL and Universal Studios/Theme parks.
Some of Bob’s notable career highlights include leading MasterCard and Major League Baseball’s highly acclaimed marketing campaign, Memorable Moments in MLB history as well as the precursor program to that effort, MLB’s All-Century Team. Bob is a three-time recipient of Sports Business Journal’s Forty under Forty award and was inducted into the SBJ “40 under 40” Hall of Fame in 2006. He also has his pulse in academia and frequently lectures at Colleges and Universities and provides mentoring to students seeking to enter the sports marketing industry.
Bob is a graduate of The Ohio State University and holds a Master’s Degree in Sport Management from Georgia Southern University. He resides in Wilton, CT with his wife and two children.
Bob is also amember of the NSMN New York City Chapter Board.
