As NSMN celebrates the opening of its 12th Chapter, local sports leaders gather to discuss the state of sports business in the Metroplex.

Speakers will lead a discussion on:

  • the uniqueness of the Metroplex compared to other leading sports markets in terms of teams, facilities, fans and media and overall sports landscape
  • how the North Texas community worked together to attract and host events like the NBA All-Star Game & upcoming Super Bowl
  • the economics of hosting national sporting events in the Metroplex and how the market is presented to win events like the NBA All-Star Game and Super Bowl XLV
  • how North Texas will continue to attract major sporting events to the marketplace including future Super Bowls, World Cup, college bowl games and boxing events?

  • how the new ownership of the Rangers impacts the local marketplace and sports fan base.
  • the rise of youth and amateur sports in North Texas and opportunities for growth
