Last year, more than 400 pre-qualified sports licensing executives attended the event, representing every major professional sports league (and representatives of their International divisions) and virtually every major sports licensee, retailer and marketer. One of the major highlights of the event was a presentation from the 2008 Beijing Olympic Organizing Committee, making its first speaking appearance in the United States at the summit.

The 2007 event will launch “Licensing Week” in New York City – the annual showcase for the multi-billion dollar licensing industry. Helping to guide programming and ensure that the 2nd Annual Sports Licensing Summit reflects the latest industry trends is an Advisory Board that includes licensing and marketing executives from the National Basketball Association, National Football League, CLC, PGA Tour, World Series of Poker, ESPN Consumer Products, Major League Baseball, Major League Soccer, NASCAR, Steiner Sports Marketing, Arena Football League, Sports Business Journal, National Hockey League, and IMG Licensing.
